The European Maker Week is an initiative promoted by the European Commission to draw the attention of European citizens to the “Maker world” and the FabLab, Makerspaces, Hackerspace and the Hardware Startups Environment. In the framework of the initiative several events are organized to create awareness about the importance of the maker culture and to foster education of creativity and innovation in all schools across Europe.
We’ve joined one of the Hungarian events entitled ‘Today a Maker – Tomorrow an Entrepreneur. Thinking vs. Doing?’. The conference’s aim is to bring together makers, future makers, professionals and interested persons to create an atmosphere of exchanging ideas and networking, while discovering stunning innovations in 3D-printing and robotics from Budapest. Ákos Horváth, co-founder and Managing Director of the company presented the Open IoT Challenge award winning MoDeS3 project powered by IncQuery Labs.
