From April 23 to 25, 2025, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME VIK) hosted the Informatics section of the National Scientific Students’ Associations Conference (OTDK). IncQuery Labs was proud to support the event, where several current and former colleagues achieved outstanding results.
Csanád Ferenc Telbisz – 1st place, Formal Methods section

Márk István Somorjai – 1st place, Software Technology 2 section
Topic: Automatic contract synthesis for deductive verification

Ármin Zavada – Special Award, Formal Languages and Methods section
Topic: Verification of engineering models with configurable semantics using a modular modeling language
Supervisors: Dr. Vince Molnár, Bence Graics (Department of Artificial Intelligence and Systems Engineering)
All awarded research projects were carried out with the professional support of the Critical Systems Research Group (ftsrg) at the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Systems Engineering, BME.
At the award ceremony, István Ráth, Chairman of the Executive Board at IncQuery, personally congratulated the award-winning students and their supervisors. Prior to the afternoon section sessions, Dr. Dániel Varró—co-founder of IncQuery and professor at both BME and Linköping University—delivered a keynote talk titled “A Doctor’s Diary – Milestones and Moments of a Research Career.”
