We are happy to announce that the Open IoT Challenge award-winning MoDeS3 project will be available for testing for participants at EclipseCon Europe in Ludwigsburg, Germany. IncQueryLabs is not only sponsoring the IoT Day, but we will be there also. István Ráth, Managing Director of the company, will give a presentation, and we will present an interactive system at the IoT Playground which allows visitors tocontrol and test the MoDeS3 plotting board. There you can meet one of the projects contributors, Benedek Horvath who can explain all details of the system.
István’s talk will introduce a new, web-ready collaborative modeling technologycalled MONDO Collaboration Framework, to be proposed as a project at Eclipse.org. Our approach is a combination of traditional file-oriented version control systems such as Git and model repositories such as CDO. The new idea is semantic collaboration, a technology where fine-grained access control and obfuscation rules can be applied on the attribute/reference level, while still maintaining full compatibility with existing file-oriented tools.
At the IoT Playground our demo will feature a live video stream from IncQueryLabs where the railway system is installed, and with some physical controllers (e.g. aLeapMotion gesture recognition system) people can interact with the railway remotely via Eclipse IoT technologies. The demonstrator combines two worlds: development techniques from the safety-critical domain and technologies from cyber-physical domain, showing how modeling, verification and validation techniques can be used for IoT. Visitors who find the hidden bugs in our system will earn a small reward.
